The Fairhaven Police Department invites the community to take part in the Security Camera Registration Program. This program allows residents and business owners to register locations of their video surveillance systems with the Fairhaven Police Department to help deter and fight crime in the community.
Through this program, Fairhaven Police will be able to identify locations of cameras that are nearby crime scenes and contact registrants for video surveillance footage.
There is absolutely no cost to register your security camera. Registration is completely voluntary and you can cancel your registration at any time by contacting Fairhaven Police Detectives at detectives@fairhavenpolice.org.
Once registered, a member of the Fairhaven Police Department will contact you to verify your information.
After signing up and verifying your information, you will only be contacted by Fairhaven Police if there is an incident in the vicinity of your security cameras. In the event that a crime occurs near your registered camera, you may be contacted by Fairhaven Police who will request a copy of video and/or images captured by your cameras over a designated time period that could assist in an investigation.
